‘Rustic Elegance’ or ‘ Luxe Rustic Wedding’ Range

A Rustic Wedding Style refers to anything that is woody, natural and a bit more organic. We can certainly assist if you want to go the whole pure rustic wedding style. However have you thought about combining two elements of decor that you might not always think can go together? 

‘Rustic Elegance’ or ‘ Luxe Rustic Wedding’ are phases that are gaining traction in design circles. The term refers to a style of decor that is rustic chic combined with classy elegance. While the setting goes a long way in creating the theme, details can be critical to the look as well. Rustic and Elegance can look amazing when put together. It’s all about balance. When you strike the right combination, you end up with a look that is as stylish as it is charming.

People often ask how such a theme exists when you essentially have two decor trends working against one another.  One one hand you have, the casual rustic look which is designed to look flawed and aged. On the other hand, you have luxury and elegance with its clean lines striking design elements.

When decking out the venue, purple and lilac tones were used as our base palette. We incorporated florals within and outside of white lanterns. Added LED pillar candles provided the finishing touch making the lantern an elegant focus for the centrepieces.  For the main centrepiece table base we used our 50 cm round mirrors  upon which our dressed lanterns sat on rustic wooden slices.

Our locally sourced and decorated 100yr old bottles filled with crystals added further elegance as they held aloft rustic styled wooden spoon table numbers. Wooden hearts were scatted around the centrepiece table mirrors to finish off the look

BUT……this is what makes the theme such a gorgeous one for weddings. These are two beautiful themes in their own right and paring them together will give you an elegant modern wedding with a twist.

During the reception meal our LED LOVE letters set off the ambience of the top table. Please note we also have 4ft wooden rustic LED LOVE letters should they be your requirement.

For place card holders we used our log holders and adorned them with bees, ladybirds etc to combine a element of fun with the rustic theme.

Our stunning cream/ivory ornate easel created the perfect perch for holding our rustic yet equally elegant guest welcome sign. Adorned with florals it created a beautiful focal point upon entry to the function room.

The Rustic Elegant style continued as we used our stunning heart carved cake stand, our old rustic chest post-box and one of our many variations on a guestbook.

Finding partner items that complement one another when it comes to the decor kept everything styled on point and looking like it all belonged together, rather than risking an eclectic mix.

Our beautiful twinkling topiary trees added further rustic charm at the venues entrance.

Upon arrival of the DJ for the evening reception these were replaced by our vey elegant 4ft cool touch illuminated white heart. It was placed infornt of the DJ set up creating the perfect backdrop for the all important first dance.
